Seattle Flower Care Guide
Flower care
Flowers are living things. With thoughtful care, they will last longer and continue to open beautifully over the coming days.
When you first receive your flowers
Keep your flowers in fresh water in a cool space away from direct sun, heat, and drafts.
For wrapped bouquets, place them in a vase with fresh water as soon as possible.
For vase arrangements, check the water level upon arrival and add fresh water as needed, as some water may have shifted during transport.
1
Enjoy the arrangement as designed
Each arrangement is thoughtfully composed.
For the most beautiful experience, enjoy the flowers together in their intended composition.
2
Ongoing care
Refresh the water every 1–2 days and trim stems slightly as needed.
Remove any foliage that falls below the water line to keep the water clean.
3
Let the flowers evolve
Flowers will continue to open and change over time. Part of their beauty is watching them evolve naturally.
Most arrangements last 5–7 days, sometimes longer depending on the flowers used and the environment.
4
Even with thoughtful care, flowers remain beautifully fleeting. They invite us to slow down and notice beauty as it unfolds.
