Welcome,
I’m Evangel

Minimalist Butterfly's Rest brand illustration symbolizing transformation, growth, and renewal.
OUR BEGINNING

Butterfly’s Rest was born in a season of transition

Before flowers became my profession,
athey quietly reshaped my life...
Hand-tied bouquet of blush pink and white ranunculus wrapped in soft pink paper.

There was a time when my life was defined by constant pressure and productivity — an atmosphere that left little room to breathe. Personal challenges made it clear that something needed to change. I often describe that season as feeling like a butterfly in a cocoon: not yet transformed, but unable to remain the same.

Flowers began as a creative outlet — a way to slow down, to observe, to process. They became a quiet language for rediscovering joy and restoring connection. What started as a personal practice gradually became transformative.

Designing with flowers revealed something essential: beauty lives in restraint, in movement, in imperfection.

Leaving corporate life was not a pivot — it was alignment. Butterfly’s Rest was born from that choice, with the intention of creating space for others to experience the same calm, care, and presence that flowers had offered me.

Today, the studio remains rooted in that original transformation:

calm, considered floral work designed to invite pause, honor individuality, and bring beauty into everyday life.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

Take a breather,
smell the flower

Flowers offer rare moments of pause in a world that moves quickly.

The butterfly in our mark represents transformation. The flower represents rest. The body of the butterfly forms a semicolon — a quiet reminder that there is always space for what comes next.

We design with that pause in mind.

OUR DESIGN APPROACH

Rooted in care,
intention & seasonality

Our work is guided by a clear artistic point of view and a respect for the natural rhythm of the seasons. Every composition is shaped with intention — balancing structure, movement, and restraint.

  • Seasonal sourcing whenever possible

  • Sculptural compositions with a soft editorial sensibility

  • Thoughtful processing for longevity

  • Sustainable mechanics using eco-conscious alternatives to toxic foam

  • A calm, guided client experience grounded in trust

Care is not an afterthought in our work — it is the foundation of every stem placed.

OUR VALUES & CARE

Sustainability is an extension of respect

for the flowers, the environment, and the community we serve.

We prioritize thoughtful sourcing, responsible mechanics, and mindful material use. Whenever possible, we work seasonally and locally, and process flowers thoroughly to extend their life and reduce waste.

We never use toxic floral foam, instead relying on eco-conscious alternatives. Leftover blooms are repurposed, composted, or shared — ensuring beauty is never wasted.

Flowers are most meaningful when shared.
